Transition

Ages 2 to 3 years

Our two transition classrooms support children as they take their first steps toward preschool. With a focus on building social skills, encouraging independence, and introducing more structured activities, this stage also includes potty training and hands-on learning through age-appropriate centers and routines.

7:00 am Beach Babies Opens

7:00 am - 8:00 am Drop Off/Free Play*

8:00 am - 9:00 am Centers/Structured Activities

9:00 am - 9:15 am Clean Up

9:15 am - 9:30 am Morning Snack

9:30 am - 10:00 am Morning Circle

10:15 am - 11:00 am Thematic Centers

11:00 am - 11:45 am Outside Time (Weather Permitting)

11:45 am - 12:15 pm Lunch

12:15 pm - 2:30 pm Nap/Quiet Time

2:45 pm - 3:00 pm Afternoon Snack

3:00 pm - 5:30 pm Afternoon Activities/Outside Time/Indoor Free Play

5:30 pm Beach Babies Closes

*Please do not let your child walk in with food in their hands because we have children with food allergies

**Each child gets a diaper change at least every 2 hours, they are constantly checked to see if they need a new diaper. Children who are potty training or potty trained are reminded to go to the potty throughout the day and at handwashing times.

Potty Training
